Brees vs. Giants, Hasselbeck vs. Cards at home.

Not sure what to make of the matchup of Brees vs. the Giants, while Hasselbeck appears to have a real juicy matchup against the league worst pass defense Cards. Brees has been made to look "human" against the NYJ and Bills his last 2 starts, not throwing for a TD in either game and held under 200 yards passing in each.

Am I overthinking this one?

I might start him over Brady.

But also, you're overthinking it. The Giants do have a good defense, but they are also coming off the softest part of their schedule, so I'm not sure they're all that.

Brees is bound to break out. You certainly can't expect his lack of passing td's to continue. But, Hass would be a good play too. I don't think you could go wrong here.

I think I would go with Hass though. You can rely on both to put up great numbers every week so why take the chance on the qb that has the much tougher matchup?

One sure way to get Brees back on track is to bench him. I'd take the Hass matchup though. He could put up another great week.

I've got good matchups all around for Warner and Rodgers but something keeps telling me I'm leaving points on the bench if I don't start Hasselbeck too. Guess there's always the risk that Adrian Wilson gets to him again.
