CAR def (1 Viewer)

After the rash of injuries in 2006 (esp at LB), this def was expected to rebound a little and be better than avg this season.

Well, after 3 games:

Wk1 - @STL

Wk2 - HOU

Wk3 - @Atl

this defense has amassed a total whopping:

2 sacks. 0 ints, 4 fumble recs, 0 Def/ST TDs

Today, they gave up a total of 442 yards of offense (351 of it was passing yds) to the feared Joey Harrington led Falcons.

I didn't see the game, but why can't they defend the pass or put pressure on the QB?

I have them in 3 leagues as my #1 defense. I will cut them in all three this week and go DBC the rest of the way. And they haven't exactly been playing great offenses. GONE.

I dont know if they are still there but Houston is a great D to pick up off the wire if no one got wise yet. They are top 3 so far. I think they scored all three weeks.

Wondering the exact same thing. CAR fans care to chime in here? On paper they look good, but are killing many FF teams...

I gave them one more chance with the Texans playing the Colts, and they got me four points against the freaking Falcons. That is awful.

They will #2 on my cut list (Chatman being #1).

I'm cutting them. Carolina may have won yesterday, but now we know that their first win was against a bad team. So was their second win against an offense who the defense should have scored FF points against. The Panthers will be a middle of the road team this year, and the defense will be a liability for them.

Unfortunately I can't as my D free agent are Wash / Alt / Giants / Jets!

Although, Atlanta does have the Texans / Titans / Giants and Saints the next four weeks ...
