Car Repair Saga--Would You Be Pissed? (1 Viewer)

About 8 weeks ago, I dropped my car off because the seats were malfunctioning. I just picked the car up again today. In the 8 weeks, it was released 4 times (including today) only to have the same problem resurface almost immediately the first 3 times. The first time, they replaced the pump; the second time, driver seat bladder; the third time, the passenger seat bladder; and the fourth time, apparently a pin was loose in one of the connections. It was all covered by warranty but took much longer than it should have IMO and they were sloppy.

I like my service advisor and have voiced my concerns to him. He suggested I drive the car for the next several days to ensure the problem is solved and then he will talk to the facility manager.

What would you do?

In many states if you have to take the car in for the same problem x number of times it's deemed a lemon and you can return it or get a new one.

I bought the car used so I don't think the lemon law applies.

skip Service Advisor, and Service Manager, and go straight to the dealer's GM.

tell him you want a new seat. now. it's under warranty, so let the dealership deal w/ the manufacturer about getting reimbursement.

I feel ya.....My Benz dealer changed my alternator two weeks ago and returned it to me without the under car panels. I didn't notice at first and went through a bunch if rain and car washes getting water where it's not supposed to be.

Worse yet the fender liners were left loose While flooring it one day, the fender liner pushed into the front tires, causing a bunch of damage and leaving me thinking the car was going to fall apart.

The kicker is my SA asked me to fill out a satisfaction survey after. I wanted to kick HIM
