Has anyone else in here played this? It's basically a politically incorrect adult rip-off of Apples to Apples that got funding through kickstarter.com last year. You can also download it as a pdf here:

Rules:

To start the game, each player draws ten white "answer" cards. One randomly chosen player begins as the Card Czar, and plays a black "question" card. The Card Czar reads the question out to the group. Each player answers the question by passing one white "answer" card, face down, to the Card Czar. Some questions call for two answer cards. The Card Czar shuffles all of the answers, reads them out loud, and picks their favorite. Whoever played that answer gets to keep the Black Card as one Awesome Point. After each round, a new player becomes the Card Czar, and every player draws back up to ten cards.
The spectrum of answers can range from nonsensical, to lame, to raunchy, to seriously depraved. Thought it might be fun to have people share some actual game-play combinations in here. A few from last night:

not sure how you "win", i dont think he does either

You win by how many "Czars" choose your combination as the best each round. You can keep the black cards to keep count. But that's not really the point with this game.

Played this for the first time with wife's extended family last night ... Awkwardly hilarious with the right crowd, but I could see it going the wrong direction if not everyone is in it for the fun.

You can also do CAH question cards with A2A answer cards or vice versa

My daughter broke this game out last night at our family Christmas part - I was nervous because some of the older relatives were sure to be shocked/offended. To my surprise one of the old biddies was the funniest of the whole group - my brother-in-law's mother in law is probably close ot 70 and she was laughing the hardest at some of the raunchier situations.

gotcha I see it's more of a social game ..... I think they did whoever was picked became the Czar.....

Have had this for several months. The downside is replayabilty. Helped somewhat with expansion packs.

Rough synopsis:

1st time playing: In tears from laughing so hard. Convinced it's the best game ever made.
2nd Time playing: Oh man this game is great. Still laughing ### off. Some cards becoming favorites
3rd Time playing; starts to hit some ruts... still funny but the jokes start getting old.

etc...

I've used my deck 5-6 times now. Not sure if I'll break it out again. Expansion pack helped but adding 10-15% new cards still leaves a bunch of stale jokes comprising the game.

I think the more players included in each game, obviously the greater the potential for cycling through massive amounts of the cards and inducing burnout. There are still tons of combinations though. The expansion packs should help but they seem pretty meager compared to the core set of cards.

I'm pretty sure they sell a couple expansion packs too

When we play it's usually 6-8 players and we play until we go through the deck, typically. Adding 2 expansion packs helped but I'll be surprise if thing thing ever reaches 10 sessions played.

DAMN IT!!!!

Got this yesterday, havent had time to play yet. Based on this synopsis, I will be breaking this out for NYE celebration at the homestead.

Played with all 3 expansion packs for the first time a few nights ago and I was in tears on many occasions. On this occasion I got to experience my wife playing the game for the first time with her parents and brothers..one of which had never played. Her having to read the question, "What are my parents hiding from me" alone made for a very merry Christmas...especially when I had the ball slapping sex card in my hand. Her mom also had some filthy erection card.

Think my favorite play ever was...."I never fully understood finger painting until I met an amputee"

We played last night.... Freaking hilarious....

So many great combos, but this one left us      for about the tenth time....so may great answers to this were given and the last one was the best of the night....

Next from J.K. Rowling: Harry Potter and the Chamber of my _________________.

I swear I've seen the combo online before, but it actually came up in a game last night:

"___________: Kid tested, mother approved"

An Oedipus Complex

Sometimes it's good to play with prudes cuz they have to google a lot of the terms on their company issued phones.

The look of disgust and embarrassment when they read the definitions is hysterical.

Q: When all else fails, I can always masturbate to: (I knew I was in trouble when I drew this card). Here are the answers my kids plus my daughter's friend Mikee gave.

A. Mild Autism. (Decent Answer)
b. Whipping a disobedient slave. (Winner most nights)

and

C. Child Beauty Pageants. (I fell out of my chair when this one popped up)/

Q: What's that smell?

Wife: (playing for first time) Doing it in the butt.

There was this awkward 20 second pause when that card was picked the winner and no one claimed it as theirs to get the point. It went all the way around to my wife who then fessed up it was hers.

Never seen my two sons laugh so hard.

That is hilarious!

In Michael Jackson's final moments, he thought about...

####### off into a pool of children's tears.
This combo showed up when playing the game with coworkers, all of whom are around college age. The game does become stale after a while, but some combos still make me laugh. Of course, the real fun is getting someone to Google a term they don't know, especially if they leave safe search off.

We got this for Christmas, and have played it a few times since. Every time there has been at least one incident of laughing to tears.

Replayability is helped significantly by introducing new people to the game. Watching newly introduced players reaction to some of the answers is awesome, especially if you have some naive or prudish types. And yes, watching the horror spread across the face as they read / see the google response to their questions is priceless.

I forget off the top of my head, but the card with the pig shooting a gun in the air is the winner no matter what if I am giving out the black card. There are few trump cards that are like pocket rockets, that being one of them.

Whatcha got?

Played for the first time a couple weeks ago. I got this card and was crying so hard and I didn't even play it yet.

Pacman uncontrollably guzzling ***.
