Holy Schneikes

Just read that Carolina may need to call up a practice squad guy just to field a tail-back next week. So out of curiosity, I looked up the cap hits for these guys:
in 2014:
Williams: 6M
Stewart: 4.6M
Tolbert: 3.4M
Total: 14M for a team that ranks 29th in rushing yards and rushing average right now.
in 2015:
Williams: 6.3M
Stewart: 8.3M
Tolbert: 3.4M
Total: 18M
Amazing. Both Williams and Stewart are both signed through 2017. What kills me even more than the terrible initial signings, is the the fact that instead of admitting their mistake, taking their lumps and moving on, they decided to restructure them both. Now it will be virtually impossible to cut Stewart in 2015, and cutting Williams doesn't help them either.
I believe the MINIMUM cap hit for the RBs next year is about 15.5M, assuming they cut Tolbert.
And none of that includes the fact that realistically, they need to actually bring in a healthy, effective, running back at some point.
