Carolina RBs? (1 Viewer)

Bayhawks

So, Stewart didn't practice today (tibia/knee?), Tolbert didn't practice today (groin), they play TB on Sunday, who has given up the 4th most points to RBs (26.1 non-ppr) this year.

Would Whittaker or Artis-Payne be a decent flyer pick if one/both are out this week?

Stewart takes every Wednesday off because he is made of glass.

I am a Duck fan and owner, and that's me being nice.

Messy RBBC when JStew goes down. The RBs as a group might not score 6 TDs this year; Cam is one of the biggest ballhogs ever. Tolbert will have GL; Fozzy & CAP between the 20's. Maybe spot FLEX-worthy from one of those any given week. Good luck guessing who & when.

If the RBs score 6 TDs this season, it seems virtually assured that Tolbert gets at least 4 of those.

Terrific. Just need to guess when those happen.

It's funny that DeAngelo is still the better RB vs. J.Stew and will probably outscore all of the Carolina RBs combined this season even as a backup for the Steelers.

Fozzy is the backup and would get the starting opportunity, with CAP being the change of pace and possibly splitting carries. I'd say 60/40 Fozzy at best. Tolbert's role likely wouldn't change too much...he'd maybe get a couple extra carries.

With that said, there doesn't appear to be too much concern about Stewart or Tolbert missing this week. Both guys routinely take Wednesday and sometimes Thursday off. I can't recall the last time Stewart practiced on a Wednesday.

I do think there is a possibility that if Stewart were to miss a game, he may lose the starting job. Last week, he was out for a series and the offense was immediately better with Fozzy as the RB.

Wha? Fozzy never even carried the ball.

Just to provide color on the harrowing saga that is owning Jonathan Stewart, here is how he's been trending...

Week 1 - Practiced in full

Week 2 - Missed Wednesday practice, practiced in full Thursday and Friday

Week 3 - Missed Wednesday practice, limited practice on Thursday and Friday, questionable tag for game day

Week 4 - Missed Wednesday AND Thursday practice

So happy I drank the Kool-Aid this off-season and own him in every league. :wall:
