The info out of Carolina is that they will focus on the run game in 07. With Foster getting the bulk of carries when healthy in 06 and Williams and his potential in the wings , what are we to expect in 07? If Foster stays healthy does he hold off Williams? Does Williams , with a year under his belt, push Foster aside? Or is it the dreaded RBBC?

I've never been the biggest D-Will supporter, but I almost think you have to consider him the favorite to be the main guy here. Foster had his shot last year and he just didn't take advantage of it. Williams was not necessarily great running the football, but he made impact plays in the passing game and generally seemed like the more dangerous option of the two.

There is definately a trend towards the 2 back system in the NFL, and Carolina is no different. I believe both backs will get plenty of carries, with whichever one has the hot hand getting a few more then the other. Of course this assumes that both backs are healthy.
