I realize CP has been dinged up, but if he can stay on the field:1. Very nice trio of WR's2. At best, an average running game3. Average D4. Talented QBI can very easily see Carson putting up fantasy numbers equal to Rodgers, Rivers, Romo, etc. Thoughts?
Agreed. Just nervous about his most recent injury. If this guy can catch a break and stay healthy for an entire year, I think he returns to the fantasy elite. I still think he is one of the top QBs in terms of talent.
word i read was that it's possible that Carson has a high ankle sprain ....
High ankle sprains linger for a while and can really hamper a QB. Unless the fear of a high ankle sprain is completely eliminated, I'd suggest looking elsewhere .. there's quite a few QBs that are on par w/ Carson with not nearly the risk of injury.
I look at Carson similarly to how I look at Warner, Hass, and Schaub. They'll either be great or awful with little to no middle ground. I'm taking the cheapest of those four and right now that's Hass and Schaub.
am I the only guy who wonders how a guy can go from "needing Tommy John surgery" to being "cured", simply with rest ?? How long can that possibly last him ?? I wouldn't touch Palmer this year (and which is why I have no great affection for Ochocinco either).

That's what worries me the most. I'm actually not worried at all about Palmer's health (although this is the first I've heard of him possibly having a "high ankle sprain". Word was that if last thursday's game were the regular season, he would have played without thinking twice). But I think Palmer may struggle to put up his pro bowl numbers if that OLine is as bad as last year's. They really need to sign Smith.
