Carson Palmer (1 Viewer)

How will this guy come back after his injuries?

He was a topline QB before the injury and with TJ.

Can he regain that form post injury, no TJ and Ocho on the decline?

I am considering him in a dynasty start up as I feel he could be good value. May be low QB1 this year but next year as he gets more comfortable can he get back to where he was, probably a 2nd tier QB1?

I wouldn't call Ocho on the decline.

Carson is still very skilled and if his oline gives him ample time he will rejoin his elite status. He still has one of the best arms in the game and actually I would argue has the most options he has ever had at his disposal.

Ocho and Coles to go along with Henry are a nice core. Throw in Simpson and Caldwell and they have very nice depth @ da position adn Chase Coffman WILL BE THE BEST TIGHT END Carson has ever played with.

I agree but does that amount to much? All I've read, Carson is fired up. Their D should be much better(as always, as long as they stay healthy) and the Bengals are setup well to surprise

Palmer's best years are behind him.

Look no further than the ineptitude of the Bengals and the lack of offensive continuity, not to mention team chemistry.

This team hasn't been better than 8-8 for 20 years. Too much of that falls back to the quarterback, and Palmer is in no position to metamorphis into somebody that can fix that. Not a basket you want to put all of your eggs in.

ETA: Figure on a decent QB2 at best.

2005 down?

No reason not to like his prospects. If that new offensive line can hold up, the Bengals offense could surprise a lot of people that are sleeping on them.

Whitworth has played pretty well at LT in the past so I'm not too worried about him shifting out there.

At Center, Kyle Cook is one of those undrafted guys that has cut his teeth on the PS. Ngata, Hampton, & Rogers in the division. Not easy...I have heard some good things about him though.

Then the rookie playing RT for the 1st time...

Not sure who the LG is.

Bobbie Williams is decent at RG

I'm an optimistic Benson dynasty owner, but I doubt the CIN run game is going to be consistent enough to be really effective. Add that to a average defense, and Palmer will get his attempts. The WRs are plenty good enough to do their part. This will come down to how healthy the arm really is.
