Most of league is based in Washington, D.C. area, but a few are out of town.  Ages range from Mid 30s to early 50s.

Draft tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, August 30th at 7:00PM, but may change depending on availability.

FINANCES
League Entry fee is $150. Payment at the draft is strongly encouraged and payment must be made prior to the first game of Week 3. If payment is not made by Week 3, 5 points will be deducted off of your score for each week that you are late. So for example you would be -5 pts in Week 3, -10 pts in Week 4 and so on. Exceptions will be considered in very rare cases, but prior approval must be received from the commissioner. In no cases will teams who haven't paid prior to the start of Week 13 make the playoffs or be invited to return to the league the following year.

Payout amounts as follows: Super Bowl Champion: $900; Runner-Up: $350; 3rd Place: $150; High Points for Regular season: $150. Winner of consolation bracket: $100.

SCORING
1 point for every 10 rushing and receiving yards
1 point for every 20 pashing yards
1 pont per reception
TDs are worth 6 points

10 point bonus for 180+ rushing yards.  10 point bonus for 180+receiving yards.  10 point bonus for 425+ passing yards.

Bonus points for long run, catches and completions ranging from 2 to 4 points.

ROSTER & LINEUP
We use a fixed roster, but with 1 flex player who is either a RB, WR or TE. You must have 1 flex player on the active roster.

You are required to keep the following on your roster at all times: 2 QB, 2 TE, 2 K and 2 DST. You must have a minimum of 4 RB and 4 WR. Then there is one flex spot that is either a RB, WR or TE. There must be a flex player active at all times.

ADDS/DROPS/FAAB
The league uses a Free Agent Acquisition Budget (FAAB) to acquire new players. Each team will have a budget of $250 (pretend money) to acquire players throughout the season. The FAAB process will run Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri and Sat nights throughout the season starting with the Tuesday after Week 1 games are completed. This is a blind bidding process so you will not know what other teams bid. Zero $ bids are not allowed so the minimum bid is $1. Money does not carry over from season to season.

TRADES
Trades will be allowed up until the trade deadline. A trade deadline will be set prior to the 11th week of the season. The commissioner must approve all trades. If the commissioner is involved in a trade, the commissioner's delegate (back-up commissioner) must approve the trade.

All trades will be approved unless there is CLEAR evidence of collusion or of tanking.

KEEPER POLICY
You may designate 2 keepers that will be verified by the commissioner. The keeper deadline will be announced by the commissioner prior to the draft, and you must declare your keepers prior to the deadline. If a player is injured or suspended after you designate your keeper, but prior to the draft, you will be allowed to change your keeper. You will not be allowed to change your keeper after the keeper deadline just because you change your mind.4

8th ROUND KEEPER - To be eligible, the player is drafted in the 8th round or later and must remain on your roster for the entire year. Alternatively, you may also keep any UNDRAFTED player that is on your roster the last day of the REGULAR season that you claimed off of waivers. In other words, if anybody drafted a player and you later claimed them off of waivers, you cannot declare them for this keeper. This player will be kept for an 8th round draft pick.

ADDITIONAL KEEPER – Players drafted in the first or second round are not eligible. Any other player who is on your roster in the last game that you played is eligible as a keeper. Add/drops will not be allowed for teams after they have lost in the playoffs (including teams in the consolation bracket).

PLAYOFFS & TIEBREAKERS
The last regular season game is Week 13. Playoffs begin in Week 14 and the Super Bowl is Week 16.

Tie breakers are Head to Head, Division Record, Points Against, Total Points

There will be a consolation playoff bracket for those who don't qualify for the real playoffs. The intent is to give these losers something to look forward to in their otherwise dreary lives and to keep them actively participating in the league. Seeding will be done according to the same rules.
