CBS Sportsline "Glog" (1 Viewer)

Has anyone else noticed the Sportsline game log that's been added to the gamecasts this year? It's sort of the CBS equivalent of a Shark Pool game thread.

Here's an example.

Pretty nice feature for us poor folk who don't have Sunday Ticket and want to get some game commentary instead of just stats. I was skeptical at first, but it's actually pretty well done.

Thanks pant. I had not seen this.Do you know who provides the content?J
Not sure. But if you read through them, it seems like they've got people who know what they're talking about. I've tracked a few in real time and they were pretty helpful for getting a feel for the games I wasn't able to watch.

Speaking of CBS, I have tried many other websites for hosting, and gone through the "being pissed at CBS" thing, but I gotta say, I like their format the best...and it's by quite a bit really.

It has nothing to do with information for me, we get that elsewhere to begin with, no? It's all navigation, for me, and their site is by far the easiest/cleanest to do so.

Not to rekindle the CBS Sportsline debate...but they are by far the best product out there for those of us who don't mind forking out 10 bucks a league. The site gets better every year.

This reminds me a little of the World Cup commentary ESPN had on their Gamecasts. The Guardian UK's were better, but they allowed readers to e-mail questions and comments as well.

ya its good and all that but why couldn't i log into my league this week and when i could the live scoring would not load? Also why is our commish going apecrap because the system would not put our drops back into the waiver system last week? Our league home page memo.."another huge problem" You gonna tell me this site is worth double/triple what mfl.com and xperts charges? No way. So much for that...

Agree 100%
So do I. My league has been using their site for six years now and no one has ever considered making a change. They have a great site and nobody in my league bats an eye about paying a little extra for it.

I can't stand the 'Fantasy Writers' they have in general but this feature looks like they got it right.Haven't played a league on the CBS leagues - might try to find one next year just to suss it out for myself -- both haters and lovers seem to be very passionate, so I figure it's worth a look to find out for myself.

:goodposting: Aside from their annual week one problems, I've never had any problems with CBS, and I have multiple leagues that use it. As far as the interface and live scoring, I haven't seen any other site that can compare with the look and feel. MFL is ok as a cheaper alternative, but I find the menus are not nearly as intuitive, and it's not nearly as nice aesthetically.Edit: though drafting online with CBS sucks, and MFL beats them by a mile in that department.

 They might as well just advertise that as part of the package. We've been with CBS for 6 years now, and Week 1 NEVER works. But everyone in all three leagues I belong to on CBS REFUSES to go anywhere else. There are even a couple of guys in an MFL league I'm in (very casual fans) who are pressing to go to CBS because MFL seems so "cheap" (their words, not mine). I'll pay the extra money for the intuitive menus and the pleasing aesthetics.
