CBS SportsLine IDP Scoring SUCKS! (1 Viewer)

This is the first year I am playing in an IDP league and I am using CBS SportsLine to host the league. I have used the site for many years and the offensive scoring has been just fine.

Why is it that approximately 1 out of every 2 players is off by 1 tackle here, 1 forced fumble there, etc, etc, etc???

Is this what I am to expect for the duration of the season? Having to adjust the scoring for about 30-40 IDP's each and every week for the next 15 weeks???

I've never had a problem with IDP scoring with CBS, and I've been using them a long time. I'm puzzled that you are having problems with missed tackles, etc. Perhaps you are looking at unofficial scoring. CBS uses the same stats as NFL.com (which is powered by CBS, I think).

I'm hoping it is just a 'one-week wonder' so to speak as I have never had any problems with scoring prior to this season.

The site that we use to host our IDP league gets it's final stats from the NFL's gamebooks. Sometimes these are different than the ones you find on the live game stats at NFL.com.

Yep, the live game stats are never official. Only the gamebooks. So you'd want to check those to verify your stats. Most stats providers use the gamebooks as their stats source as that is about as official as it gets.

Also remember that tackles are not an official NFL stat either so if you look at 3 different sites you may see 3 different tackle stats for the same player.
