CBS uses space-age technology to prove Steelers' last TD was good (1 Viewer)

Replays that require extraordinary effort to determine what happen would be the very definition of inconclusive, wouldn't they?

And I didn't see the CBS segment you are talking about so maybe I'm missing the point, but I don't think anyone has ever debated whether or not the ball seemed to touch the line.

I saw the CBS replay and it looked to me they stoped it before the WR had both feet down still.
That doesn't matter. If the ball is possessed while breaking the plane and the catch is later completed (with two feet down), the ball doesn't have to stay across the plane to be a TD. This is covered in the thread on this from last week.

Dont know about CBS, but the frame by frame replay reviewed by Mike Perera on NFL Network showed virtually the entire football directly over the white chalk, and further showed that most of the network replays shown during game coverage mistakenly focused on the frames before or after the conclusive view. The Perera review was conclusive IMO.

I believe they also used space age technology to prove that the Steelers got punched in da mouf today.
:thumbup:Steelers fans are still obsessing about this play?Worst sports this side of Boston? The Ravens appear to have gotten over it.
