cbssportsline scoring ? (1 Viewer)

In my league if you have the D/ST of any team our scoring system gives point values based on points allowed.

Let's say that your D/ST gives up 20, however the Offense throws an INT and then that D/ST runs in for a TD.

Now cbssportsline shows that your D/ST gave up 27 even though your D/ST was not on the field.

Anyone else come across this or have a way to handle this?

In my other yahoo, espn, etc leagues, Points Allowed is only for those points scored on your D/ST. So if the offense gives up a turnover TD it has no impact on your D/ST Points Allowed.

Any insight would be appreciated.

You have to set it up in the scoring as Defensive Points Allowed and not just Points Allowed.

You have to set it up in the scoring as Defensive Points Allowed and not just Points Allowed.

So then there is an option for this in cbssportsline? My commish is saying that there isn't an option for this that he knows of.

Tell him he needs to select the set-up category "Points Against Defense/ST"

NOT

"Points Against, Total Points Scored".

Just a tip to be VERY wary of changing anything mid-season in the setup screen.I hold my breath every time I even click on the link.There are warnings but three years ago I went in to set up the playoff matchups and ended up deleting the whole season. Ugh.I was able to recreate it but man was that scary!
