Perhaps the most worrisome injury (other than a certain quarterback throwing arm) is what happened to Cedric Griffin.Griffin had recently returned to action after recovering from an ACL injury that he suffered in the NFC Championship game against the Saints. Griffin appeared to suffer a similar injury but he told reporters as he left the field, “It’s something new. It ain’t the same (knee).”Same knee or not, Griffin left the stadium on crutches, and early rumors are that ESPN is reporting he could miss the remainder of the season, although I haven’t seen those reports myself. We should know for sure sometime in the next couple of days.
