Chad "Bro"chocinco buying out all remaining Bengals tickets (1 Viewer)

Ocho bought my buddy and his wife dinner this year when the Bengals were in Charlotte. The night before the game, he tweeted where he was eating and the first 88 fans to show up got treated to dinner. He's a Panther fan, but he said he is now an 85 fan for life. He was able to talk to him and he said he is a really nice guy.
see when you get paid ungodly amounts of money, doing #### like this is just cool. Think of the 1000's of 'normal joes' who get a lil bonus and a brush with celebrity based on ocho's personality/actions. I just think it's cool and wish more athletes would do the same.
It would be even cooler if the owners would do the same, since they tend to have 100-1000 times more money than the players.

Honestly, as much of a good guy and bro Chad sounds like, I think he just does all this to get people to like him because he's such an attention whore
Read his book and you'd feel differently. He's proud and thankful for where he's at. He gets it. Clearly you don't.
oh no see i do get it. thats why i posted all the stuff that i think he's cool, but he is a pretty big attention whore. it's not even a big minus, it's just that he is one.

Yeah, there are so many colorful personalities in those owners boxes. I'm just dying to party with them.

It doesn't really involve money, but Jerry Richadson (owner of the Panthers) will routinely stop by tailgates. He has visited mine a couple times over the years. I've always thought that was pretty cool.

Actually I'm far more impressed when a rich person spends time rather than money. Pretty cool that he does that and far more personal.

Ocho bought a bunch of folks breakfast in San Diego a while back when I think the Bengals were in town. Tweeted it out, met everyone somewhere and they walked to breakfast together and from what I read and saw in pics that were posted, everyone had a great time. Seems like - whether he's doing it from a place of needing attention or not - he genuinly likes meeting fans.

Darnell Dockett apparently brings 100 kids to Toys R Us and gives them each $100 to spend and I think he does it almost every year.

I think it's worth calling these things out - a lot of time the media gets so obsessed with the negative things players do, the positive things players and teams do get overlooked.

If you follow him on Twitter you'll see that he pretty much does this in every city for road games and some home games as well. Or just in random cities that he's going to be in. He does trips to the movies pretty regularly as well.He just posts a location and a time and tells people to show up. I think he usually limits it to a certain number of people - might be 85 for obvious reasons.

His twitter is funny as hell today

I've been sleepn w this chick name success,i love her but she be with everybody, its all good cause i feel like the only 1 when she with me. about 4 hours ago via TweetCaster

I've been sleeping with success but I've had an affair with this exotic dancer name Winning Games, we only been together twice though :wall: about 4 hours ago via Mad Chad Game :lmao:

I've been working so hard to get Ms. Winning Games to come around more often, she always liked Black n Gold n had a thing for Ravens! B_tch about 4 hours ago via Mad Chad Game

If y'all ain't fancy enough to sleep with Success don't trip, she got a sister name Hope who go both ways and do it all #justsayin about 4 hours ago via Mad Chad Game

ya blackouts have been lifted at the last minute many times. usually, its bc the local networks purchase the remaining tickets. ask jacksonville. what was amazing to me was that the bengals went like 8 yrs without a blackout till that bills game.
I believe that Thursday is the deadline to apply for an extension for the black out rule and extensions are granted depending on the number of tickets remaining. If more than X tickets are remaining to be sold then the NFL will not extend the black out deadline.

Was he a good guy when he skipped all their offseason workouts then came in and tanked the season?
Was that the season that Carson Palmer missed 13 games and Ocho had ankle surgery and a shoulder injury?Yup that was the one.

:lmao: He's a loudmouth and he's an attention whore but he's a decent human being and he's freaking hilarious.

Chad's the best ambassador to fans the NFL has right now.
Easily.J
You gotta admit it feels a little weird to type that right? That this prima donna, oft fined, mohawk/gold front flossing dude is the best ambassador the nfl has... It's like biazarro world. Rozelle must be rolling in his grave. I bet Ocho was a HUGE McMahon fan too!
I think it's things like the mohawk and gold teeth that a lot of the, shall we say 'traditional NFL fan base', has trouble looking beyond to see the good person Ocho truly is.

Yes it is 85. I posted 88 earlier in the thread, but that was a typo. My friend was the 85th person for his dinner in Charlotte.

Who else been with success and think she only with you, funny how y'all claiming the same chick I'm penetrating @rickyrozay (voice) Mad Chad Game 12/3/10 6:24AM

 He's fricken hillarious

Could be. But at least he's an attention whore that gives back unlike some other people ... cough ... cough ... favre.
I really doubt there are many in the NFL that donate more to charity than Favre.

I was talking about buying the remaining tickets to avoid a blackout. In Oakland, it's the exact opposite; the taxpayers give Al Davis money every time the stadium doesn't sell out.

I really do like Chad, but this guy goes through money like he has Bill Gates' bank account. Between the cars, houses, jewels and I'm sure countless other things, why do I feel like we may have the next MC Hammer in the making?

He also said he'd change his last name back to Johnson if Revis shut him down last year...I'd love to see him actually buy them all up, but don't believe it just because he said he would
as others have said he has done this and more before. Love that guy. One of the best guys in the league. no matter what people think of his shtick on the field
x2. Love the Bro-Cho.

XOcho is savvy, street smart and a marketing genius. Hell how many reality shows has he been on? By the time he retires I bet he has his own cable network.
