Is this rook gonna be ready for game 1? With Branch looking more and more like he is not going to play another game for the Pats, is Jackson worth a flier? Childress is in the picture too, and I have no love for Caldwell..

I know Watson looks to pick up the extra looks, but the scotuing on Jackson is awesome.

Any thoughts?

My thoughts are that Jackson has played just as much as Branch has this year.

He looked great in the offseason camps, but hasn't done much of anything since he pulled his hammy. The other day, the team had him working out in the weight room while everyone else was in meetings. I'm expecting very little from him in the opening weeks of the season.

probably a guy to stash for next year or AT BEST, the last few weeks of the season, nothing more.
