I was listening to JT The Brick last night. He and his guy Looney were discussing excessive celebrations in the NFL. And Looney delivers this gem, "Chad Johnson is a so-so receiver looking to get his name in the media with his celebrations."

BUH?!

That's why his name is "Looney".

Yeah, just like Dennis Rodman was a so-so rebounder trying to get his name in the media with his different hair colors.

Interesting. I was wondering where Mike Tice's offensive coordinator (Steve Loney) of last year ended up. Glad to hear he was unemployed very long.

Watching that "offense" made me wonder if Tice hired a guy straight out of a pee wee football league.

Sadly, it wasn't Tice's call, it was Red McCombs. Red told Tice he had to promote somebody from inside the organization without hiring anybody new. So Tice promoted Loney (offensive line coach) to offensive coordinator, howeve Loney still had the offensive line coach 'hat' as well.

Secrect files obtained from the Viking's offices:==================================

2003-2005 Vikings Offensive Strategy

==================================

- Despite good run-blocking O-line, only run ball 10 times per game.

- QB: scramble around until Randy gets open.

- Since Randy will always be here, do not coach QB to read defenses

or check off other WR.
