This is the exact reason I don't expect Moss to ever get back to form.. He simply seems to have lost the desire to be the best.Lost in the comedy of that interview-and it was really funny-was the key to why CJ is awesome. He just wants to compete and win. I'm sure he loves the $$$, but this guy really wants to be the best and he's willing to "study" and work harder than anyone else. From the interview, he's still "hungry" and "hasn't eaten yet". That's an awesome attitude. Talent + motivation beyond money = a top player. Of course this is obvious, but it's just great to actually see it from time to time in the NFL. I mean after a certain point, an NFL-er must be motivated by something other than money because they will have more than enough after a couple of years to keep them fat and happy in retirement the rest of their lives. Most players are willing to work, but don't have the talent to be elite in the NFL. A lot of talented guys know they are the bomb and don't work as hard as they should. CJ has both. And is really funny to boot.
No nothing about palmer. ONly mention of him was when Palmer asked him in a game "How's number 35?", to which he replied "They are all ####, just pass me the ball." I love this guy. He backs up everything he says, and has the desire to be the very best. Last year he surprised me most when on PTI he wouldn't refer to himself as the best cause he hasn't led his team to a playoff win. He has great goals (which he will make very soon) adn what seems like a phenominal work ethic.did he say anything about Palmer?
Hall may be quiet now, but he was the one doing all the trash talking to CJ at the Pro Bowl. Maybe D-Hall is so quiet right now because Ward blew up him so bad last week. I'm glad to hear CJ talking again, he's been pretty quiet this year and obviously so have his numbers. He just hasn't seemed the same. I may be wrong, but I think that hit he took messed with him a bit. I was watching the game last week and CJ had one ball thrown to him on the sideline, it would have been a tough catch, but it's the kind I've seen him catch a million times. He ended up catching it out of bounds. Just before the ball got there I saw him look over at the defender and he knew he was going to take a big shot if he made the catch.I sure hope 85 is back. He's definitely my favorite WR...lots of fun to watch.(Rotoworld) After calling him "DeAngelo Fall" Wednesday, WR Chad Johnson told reporters that he will shave his mohawk if CB DeAngelo Hall and the Falcons win in Week 8.Impact: "You know how much that Mohawk means to me right now," Johnson said. "In pregame, I'm going to wear my jersey backwards so my name is on the front because that's all he's going to see during the game, is my name, which means they will be looking at me from the back." Hall was surprisingly silent on the issue, saying "he can do what he wants to do with his hair."
Well, I'm all for his sense of humor as well. But, aren't you guys getting tired of the talk without the stats?Seriously. I was looking at how the WR scoring looks in our league and he's no where to be seen.Love the sense of humor, love for the game, etc. But... me thinks spending more time scoring TD's and less time talking about scoring TD's would be much better.
Here's a link to the artice in the ajc.http://www.ajc.com/sports/content/sports/f...026falcons.htmlAnyone have a link to the full interview? ESPN had a partiel clip but not the whole thing.
Deangelo Falls. Get it right or you're off Chad's payroll.Watching NFL Total Access yesterday and saw the CJ interview. Man is that guy funny. But who was he talking to when he said " I know your weakness, your a DB." Was it Deangelo Hall.
Just wondering, thought it was a riot.
I will co-sign that note!!!!!!!!Dear God,Please let #85 go ####ing OFF this week.Signed,Little Scuppy
I love Ocho Cinco.I'm tellin you it's better for him to talk, he plays with more passion and just flat out plays better when he talks trash.
Hey, I'm not saying he needs to worry about just my league. If he is claiming to be the best and unstoppable, etc., he probably DOES care about how he does in this league:http://www.nfl.com/stats/leaders/NFL/RECYDS/2006/regular![]()
im sure chad is worried more about how hes doing in your league than possibly being 5-2
