I realize he has upside and has been a Stud (3 years ago) but I had to cut him. He was killing my team. Anyone else cut him? and if so did you lose any sleep over it?
Holding. No way to get anything of value for him now.I realize he has upside and has been a Stud (3 years ago) but I had to cut him. He was killing my team. Anyone else cut him? and if so did you lose any sleep over it?
I agree with this. No way do I sell low but I am in a different position than others. I have great WRs so I am just waiting - more like hoping - for one of his big weeks so I can move him.Holding. This is my strategy in both leagues to this point. If he does nothing this week, I am placing him on the "trade block" in one league and putting out multiple offers with him included in the other.(Yes, I own him in 2 of 3 leagues.)I agree with this. This is my dilemma - sit him for a more consistent WR and take the chance for him to erupt on my bench. So frustrating. He's bad, but he's not a cut. He could explode at any point. See, e.g., Braylon Edwards.
I started Braylon this week and he won the game for me on MNF by 0.5 pts. If I bench him I lose. D@mn you, Otis. Making it increasingly hard to sit Chad.I started Braylon this week and he won the game for me on MNF by 0.5 pts. If I bench him I lose. If you have better options, by all means. He has been absolutely horrible. Just don't be surprised when he goes for 150 and 2 on your bench.D@mn you, Otis. Haha. I have good WRs with Fitz, Marshall, and Colston, but with Fitz on a bye I think I'm starting Chad.If you have better options, by all means. He has been absolutely horrible. That would require Ryan Fitzpatrick to throw 2 touchdowns.Just don't be surprised when he goes for 150 and 2 on your bench.![]()
Not exactly what happened, but he was a huge lift this week for me in my PPR league getting 8/52/1. I think he could be a decent play this week against Houston. Anyone else rolling the dice?If you have better options, by all means. He has been absolutely horrible. Just don't be surprised when he goes for 150 and 2 on your bench.
I am strongly considering it. I think the fact that his two best games so far this season have been with Fitzpatrick actually makes CJ a bit more promising now than he was a couple of weeks ago.Not exactly what happened, but he was a huge lift this week for me in my PPR leagetting 8/52/1. I know what you mean but hey, points in garbage time = points in crunch time. I didn't get to see the game so I was wondering how he looked? Was he targeted at all down the field? I'm rolling the dice again this week with bye issues.8 for 52 doesn't make me warm and happy. Good for fantasy but just tells me the Bengals got far behind and the Steelers were letting them have the dinks and dunks.
7 of his catches were when the Bengals were within 10 points. The Steelers didn't run away with the score until the 4th quarter when CJ got 4 targets for 1 catch.8 for 52 doesn't make me warm and happy. He had a couple deep targets (one in the 3rd and one in the 4th I believe).I don't recall him getting any deep passes. It seems they finally realized the offensive line won't hold up that long and they were getting him involved with short and intermediate routes. In my opinion that's a promising sign of things to come.
This is good info - thanks guys. I think they need to get him more involved, maybe we will start to see that more and more, we'll see.He had a couple deep targets (one in the 3rd and one in the 4th I believe).I don't recall him getting any deep passes. Some life to this support group. There are likely not many of putting him their lineups but he has produced today. Hoping for more though. This is good info - thanks guys.
