Cin. Will not drop him that's for sure....they were offered some pretty nice picks for him and they passed so it would look pretty bad if they dropped him for nothing within the same year......he could be traded but I don't see them getting close to what was being offered before the season.....TJ becomes a pretty avg. WR without Chad on the other side drawing double teams.....I think they keep Chad and let TJ hit the open market

not sure how letting TJ hit the open market=full blown rebuilding but whatever......Don't think Palmer will be a FA in 2009......as for the coach I can't believe this guy still has a job.....if it were up to me Lewis would not be back in 2009....
Cincy's a mess and needs to start over...unfortunately as long as their ownership is still there they're in trouble. Playerwise I don't see Chad being a member of this team next year. The Bengals need to cut ties with him (and a few other players and Coach Lewis) and bring a new attitude to this team. As for Chad I would not be surprised to see him in New England next year. The Pats need another WR and BB has always been a fan of Johnson's. They probably won't have to pay top dollar for him and this move would fit a similar profile to them bringing in Moss and Dillon (i.e. disgruntled veteran with issues looking for a new start).
Don't know enough about Cincy to know if he stays or goes, but he is not done and is a great buy low player. Talent doesn't disappear--he isn't so old that his talent should be in decline. He has been hurt (hence low production) but a torn labrum is not a career ending injury. He deserves "toughness" credit for playing through the injury this season.
I can't see Palmer going elsewhere or the team getting rid of him and I would rather see Chad stay because of when Palmer is healthy and with a new HC the team could easily rebound on offense.
