Do we expect a resurgence after the bye week...or is TO the #1 there, and Ochocinco becoming fantasy bench material?

Thoughts?

I've lost confidence. Started Dustin Keller over him this week and will continue to.... so when Ochocinco finally breaks out it will be on my bench.

I kind of see it the same way.

I just cannot imagine starting Ochocinco...though with his name I still see SOME level of value. That said, I was just offered Ocho for Brandon Jackson in a PPR league, and while the deal screams no-brainer - to me, there is a sense that trading for him isn't really going to improve anyone's team.

I dropped him for Moeaki since I have to fill a flex W/T slot. He's at least as good as a decent WR with upside, and been way more consistent than Ocho, while also helping fill my primary TE bye week later on.

after his big week 1, I've started him the last 4 weeks. but I just can't stomach it any more, mostly because of a lack of confidence in Carson Palmer. Tampa Mike will be taking his spot in the lineup from now on.

He has always been a boom and bust player. You can't bench him or you will out on those 30 plus point games that can win you a weak single handedly. I suspect that TOs success will eventually cause teams to move some of their defensive emphasis toward him and will open Ocho up more. I would keep starting him.

Tampa was using #1 coverage on TO. They had Talib on him and gave safety help after TO's long touchdown. Ocho is already considered the #2 and he is still unable to put up solid fantasy stats. I wouldn't drop him yet, but I don't think he's even a solid flex play at this point.
