Chad Ochocinco is looking for a roommate.

The New England Patriots wide receiver told reporters that he plans to move in with a Patriots fan as he becomes accustomed to his new surroundings in Boston.

"I'm going to do something different, I'm actually going to stay with a fan for the first two, three weeks of the season," Ochocinco said Tuesday after practice. "That should be fun, until I get myself acclimated and learn my way around."

When asked if he was being serious, Ochocinco replied: "Have I ever lied to you before?"

The wide receiver maintains he has just two qualifications: The fan must have Internet access and an Xbox.

Ochocinco made headlines in the offseason for his whimsical approach to the NFL lockout. He rode a bull, drove a car at a NASCAR track, tried out for Major League Soccer club Sporting Kansas City and considered going alligator hunting.

The Cincinnati Bengals traded Ochocinco to New England days after the NFL lockout ended for a pair of late-round draft picks.

My favorite thing about Ocho is that it isn't just him having a good time- he's all about having a good time with the fans. This "stunt" will be fantastic for 1 random fan and reports out of Cinci were always about him buying tickets and rounds of drinks for fans. Hes having a good time, and so are we.

Reminds me of an interview I saw with Jermain Whiggins when the Sox won it all. All the guy could talk about was Bucky Dent or something like that. Just got no joy out of the Bosox winning.

Have to remember here, Chad is notorious for running the wrong routes, or adding steps to his routes, in an effort to get the big play. Count me in as not surprised when we see Brady throw a pick, to Chad zigging, when he's supposed to be zagging.
