Chambers: How Hard Is the SD Offense to Learn? (1 Viewer)

This topic wasn't jumping out at me in the very long Chambers post.

Please just stick to this topic for this post.

So, is the SD offense remotely similar in scheme/complexity to Miami?

I like this long term for Chambers but if it's a difficult scheme he could absolutely suck for the next month.

Thoughts?

Per Norv on NFLN (Total Access IIRC) - same offense (I'm sure there are some tweaks w/ Cam's version) - but same formations, calls, etc. Plus he's got the bye week to get into the system. If Vinny can come in on a Wed. and play starting QB in the NFL 4 days later, I'm sure Chambers will be able to line up and run routes.

That said, I wouldn't want to be counting on him for WR2 #s in week 8.

I do agree w/ a poster in the other thread that the *shark* play might be to find someone very excited about this and deal him for another WR2/3 on a better passing team. That's what I'm doing, but he's my 4. .o2
