Chalk up another title for my main, 12 team league. I'd put this team up against any 12 team roster.

6pts all TD, no PPR

QB: Brees

RB: C Johnson and MJD

WR: start 2 of D Jackson, W Welker, and S Holmes

TE: Gates

Solid but unspectacular week for this group. Had great luck in the finals as I was up against P Manning, Wayne, Gonzo, and S Jackson.

Looking like I could be 2/2 this year.

One I have a 50 point lead, the other I'm still not sure about, many left to go.

Schaub/Orton (played Schaub today) ---Orton was waivers

All Day

Ryan Grant

Jerome Harrison ------waivers

Sidney Rice -------waivers

Marques Colston

Antonio Gates ---traded Housh early on

Garrett Hartley

ARZ Defense ------waivers

IMO, prime exmple of how waiting til round 5 on QB, taking 2 RB and 2 W in first 4, not taking a TE, and mining waivers all season lead to success. 2 years in a row this league.

Have a large lead and looking good (Up 74 with Olsen vs. Peterson/Hester/Allen) so I would say I got a 90% chance of taking it. Went with a QB and big WR strategy in the league this year and it payed off. Started 2-6, had to win the last 5 to get in the playoffs at 7-6 and took out three of the top teams. I did draft and hold onto my championship RBs all year.

QB-Brady

WR-Marshall

WR-Calvin Johnson

RB-J. Charles (was LJ)

RB-Harrison (was Julius Jones)

UTIL-Sims-Walker

UTIL-M. Morris (was Kevin Smith)

TE-Olsen

K-Carpenter

DEF-ATL

LB-Willis

DB-Dawkins

DL-Cole

Shouldn't be bragging if you're not an IDP champion. Take the TEAM DST's to the Guppy Pool.
Schtick? We started with IDP in '95, dropped it in '99 and never looked back. Best decision we ever made.12 teamer - barring the greatest receiving game of all time from Percy Harvin tomorrow night, my winning lineup is:E ManningC JohnsonJ CharlesW WelkerG JenningsS Smith (Car)H MillerL TynesSan Fran D/ST

Woooo!!

Won my 3rd straight championship in my "friends" league, bragging rights for another year!

Also took down the first big $$ league I've ever been in, its a very merry Christmas for me!

If only DeAngelo didn't get hurt, I could have been 3 for 3 this year.

Up by 12 with any Austin points gravy

Winning lineup today:

T. Brady

C. Benson

J. Charles

R. Moss

B. Edwards

D. Clark

R. Bironas

Eagles D

7-6 Team was the last to make the playoffs at 6. High performance PPR league. Got hot in December mainly because of Charles. Won by 8 points today with the Brady Moss combo.

I won! I admit it's an easy league. We've played for 4 years, I've been to the Superbowl game every year, and won it all twice. The honest truth is I owe my success to FBG and the Shark Pool, for letting me be aware of players to target in the draft and especially later on.

My final lineup:

Brees

Charles

Rice

Jerome Harrison

Randy Moss

Colston

Fred Davis

49ers

Mike Nugent

Won my 12 team H2H PPR money league. Overcame some injuries/suspensions to Ronnie Brown, Leon Washington, and Chris Cooley throughout the season.

Just won the closest title game in our league's history (.64 point difference), despite going up against Moss today.

Lineup:

Rodgers - I was cursing the GB running backs today

MJD

Benson

S. Smith CAR

Jennings

Braylon - Switched him in for Bowe at the last minute, which nearly cost me the title

Celek - Money!

My championship game just ended:

No Worries 117.10 House of Payne 117.10
Not sure what we're going to do about this. I agreed with the other owner to split the $1000 prize, but the league title is still to be determined. Per Yahoo's tiebreakers, the team with the most TDs from their starting line up wins. I'd win 5-3 under that scenario, but I'm not sure I want a belt decided that way.As a Peyton Manning owner, I'm definitely not playing again next week after Caldwell cost me the title this week. What would you guys do?

I'd probably declare co-champions or put it up to a league vote as what to do. You're name will still be up on the board but would gain some good karma and maybe a trade partner down the line. Congrats either way.

anyone else out there win with SJax still in the lineup? my opponent didn't have a good game, so my mistake didn't cost me.

It's usually silly to tell people about the quality of their league in here, but considering you've started a thread to boast, I think it'll be fine this time.Your league must really suck balls. With those numbers, it has to. That can't be too much fun, matching FF knowledge with half-interested people, no?

Champion of the Casino Fantasy Football League for the 2009 season!

Came in as a Wildcard playoff team with a win during the last week of our season. I drafted in the 12th slot of our 12 team PPR league back in September.

QB - P. Rivers (acquired via trade in WK 10 for Brandon Marshall & McNabb who were 7th & 8th round picks)

RB1 - Chris Johnson (12th overall pick - First round)

RB2 - P. Thomas (Fourth Round)

WR1 - A. Johnson (13th overall pick - Second round)

WR2 - Miles Austin (Week 6 waiver wire pickup)

FLEX - Maurice Morris (Week 15 waiver wire pickup)

K - M. Nugent (Week 16 waiver wire pickup)

DEF - Falcons (Week 16 waiver wire pickup)

Congrats to all champs!!!

A pretty unlucky year for myself, however I've been there its great, enjoy the feeling fellas...and maybe ladies.

Now time for playoff fantasy and off season dynasty trading! :D

I do have to say, A guy who just asked me if Deuce McAllister got a Touchdown last week as we watched the Saints game, just won a title in one of my leagues.... And he pointed and grunted at the draft cuz he was so wasted, lol, ugh....but its not luck!

Oh and he went away hunting for 2 weeks and didnt adjust his lineup, and he drafted the Saints Def at the begining of the year....lmao, but its not luck!

12-team non-ppr...................1st title ever in this $$$ league with friends!!!!!

QB - Brady

RB - Rice (went back and forth for a couple of hours between Rice and Stewart! ) Oops!

RB - Benson

WR - Moss

WR - Marshall

WR/TE - Gates

Def - Phily

K - Tynes

This was the 1st time ever that the #1 seed in this league won the championship. Thank goodness that San Diego sort of 'contained' Chris Johnson on Christmas night and didn't allow him 3 or 4 td's. It also helped that Green Bay found a running game yesterday and put Rodgers to the bench!!!!!

Thata way Brady/Moss....................drafting them 1.09, 2.01 paid off and I survived their junk game last week!!!

CONGRATS to the others out there. I am going to enjoy this championship for awhile before I get back to work on the 2010 draft and preparing keepers!!!!!!!!!!!!

WWWWWWWOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zealots 6 Champ - 3rd title in 7 year history

However, losing consecutive title games in my local league hurts. On-line leagues are fun (and keep you on your toes) but winning and losing is much more important when the smack talk goes on 12 months a year with your boys. Congrats to all you champions out there!

I may just win with the 2nd lowest score in my league this week:

Rodgers 11.34

ADP (playing tonight)

MJD 8.97

Colston 10.13

AJ 13.73

Witten 11.80

Rackers 0 (my other option was Folk, lmfao - no FA pickups in playoffs)

NYG DT -2.40 (my other option, TEN, would have been a better start at -0.62)

I'm down by .71 of a point with ADP remaining. He's done. We're both more than 10 points lower than the next lowest score in the league. I almost hope I'll finish with the 2nd lowest score - just for the fun of it!

One of my buddies is trying to convince me to pull ADP tonight and replace him with Chester Taylor - just for the bragging rights...

Barring any complete disasters involving Hunter Hillenmeyer returning multiple turnovers for touchdowns, it looks like I've got my game locked up.

I'm pretty sure you don't care but since you wasted your time needling me, I'll waste my time replying. I've been in this league for 14 years, with 90% of the same owners since day 1. We have a $400 entry fee, so i'm pretty damn sure everyone cares and puts their time and effort into it. What can I say? I drafted right, stayed healthy and won my league. Sorry if you didn't fare so well in yours, if you have an opening, I'll gladly join your league and win that one too. ;)
