**Chargers at Falcons** (+1, 48) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

Chargers off a tough loss at home to The Ravens
Falcons off a bye
Dillon to IR is big
Herbert is playing well
Cousins needs to for Atlanta to win
I think The Falcons control the tempo at home
and...

Atlanta- 27
Los Angeles- 23

Arguably the most important game of the week. Should be a game decided in the last 2 minutes.

I think Drake London's size advantage will benefit him a lot against the Chargers smaller CBs, and I think Bijan could have a nice game in passing game especially.

For the Chargers, I think they would be wise to adjust the offense to being more pass heavy without Dobbins. I think Herbert could have a big game if he has enough volume, as the Falcons pass rush shouldn't be an issue, and he could add with his legs again. I also think McConkey could blow up, again if the offense is more pass heavy. He'll likely avoid AJ Terrell.

Chargers-24
Falcons-21

My ongoing issue with the Bolts and what folks seem to misunderstand, their wins/loss record is ahead of schedule.
Harbaugh gutted all the skill positions and most of these guys are still learning
How can the Bolts funnel much of the offense thru Quentin "Hands of Stone" Johnston?

I want the Bolts to win because I root for the Bucs, prefer the Falcons lose and expose themselves, Cousins is better than anything they had. but still has a visible ceiling to most
I'm anxious to see Penix in this offense with all these weapons to work with, of course that won't happen this season, maybe not even next

I think you can certainly give Johnston 6+ targets weekly. I mean, I think McConkey and Dissly are probably the 1-2 right now, with Johnston as the #3, and Palmer being able to pick up some slack. I think Herbert has been playing just below MVP levels, and while its putting a lot on the plate of young players, I think there is a lot more upside to doing that, then there is just slamming Gus and co. for 3 yards.

I disliked the Penix pick by the Falcons (given the Cousins signing, and the talent and other spots) but I do agree, Cousins is only so good. Right now, this feels like a team that loses to whomever they draw from the NFC North in the playoffs, if they can even hold off Tampa.

Mystery man Chark is active today. Last time he was active he saw the field for exactly 1 snap.

It'll be interesting to see how they use Vidal. It won't be nothing, but he won't inherit all of Dobbins's reps either.

Haskins fumble should open up Vidal more

Greg Roman calling a run by unaccustomed ball carrier in short yardage, tale as old as time

Feel like the Ravens might have shown the world how to beat this Chargers D

The fumble was clearly Haskins’ fault, but any chance it gets changed to Herbert? Typically a fumbled exchange is charged to the QB. Only question is whether Haskins had established possession before fumbling.

Signed, a Herbert fantasy manager

Coaching matters. This team plays hard and has almost no penalties but needs more talent to continue. Still have to say Harbaugh has them buying in and selling out to win. Side note- McConkey needs more bulk to survive in the nfl. He's almost always hurting every game even though he has great talent to get open.

They’re doubling McConkey in the slot. Two players put two chips on him trying to get off the line that last play.

Cousins is now clearly limiting the Falcons ability to make the Playoffs
I called for a QB change once already this season, like to see Penix get some reps
Cousins was awful today, Pick-6 in a 17-13 game plus he threw a lollipop interception into the end zone when they could have settled for a FG and cut it 17-16

Re-watching this one, and the Falcons were the better team everywhere but QB. Kirk Cousins singlehandedly lost this game. Everyone else did enough to win, Cousins was issue.
