Chargers keep losing..Packers keep winning (1 Viewer)

The only glaring weakness the Packers have at this point is obviously in the run game. Ted Thompson already gave up a 6th pick for Grant, but with each passing week, a deal involving Michael Turner to the Pack seems to make more and more sense for both sides. Will it happen???

Nope.

It's a lot more likely now than it was four weeks ago. If it looks like the Chargers will be out of the playoff hunt before the trade deadline, I imagine trading Turner could become a possibility.

Im not really sure they would get good value at this point especially after his showing today.

Would the Burner burn it up in Packerland? Curious what kind of potential people think he has playing in GB.

Did you hurt your head falling off the bandwagon? :coffee: They're only one game out of first.

One bad game in which the Chargers lost and where he had little opportunity killed his value?

No, I think he's saying there's much less value to holding Turner given SD playoffs hopes. I still say whichever team wins the SD/DEN game on Sunday wins the division. Both teams are playing way below the level they can play. One of them will win that game and get a bye week soon after to regroup. I wouldn't want to have to play that team the rest of the season. Those are two talented teams playing about as poorly as they can play.

That's why it won't happen. The Chargers are struggling, but their division isn't that tough. 9-7, 10-6 might be enough to win it, especially if they can beat Denver a time or two along the way.

The Pack would be better with Turner no doubt... but be honest, you think Favre gets an ulcer every time he sees a Brady-to-Moss highlight and remembers GB could have had Moss for a 4th rounder?

If GB would have traded their 1st/2nd/4th rounders for Turner/Moss I think they would be favorites to win the NFC right now. With that good young defense can you imagine how imposing they'd be with those extra weapons on their offense?

I don't think you'll see Turner go anywhere. The Chargers will get a 3rd rd compensatory pick for losing Turner next year, so a team has to significantly beat that to see him leave. Will they give up a #1 for a guy you have to sign to an expensive long-term deal to make it worth your while?

Plus, it will look like the team is quitting. It will be true, but nobody wnats to look like they're quitting.
