Bucs placed RB Charles Sims (knee) on injured reserve.
This one comes out of left field, as there was no indication Sims' injury was serious. It's unclear if his season is over, or if he will be a candidate to return in eight weeks. Sims struggled mightily as a fill-in starter for Doug Martin, but is amongst the league's best pass-catching backs. His absence creates an every-week role for Jacquizz Rodgers, putting him on the radar in PPR leagues. Doug Martin could also be a little more involved in the passing game, boosting his floor. Sims turned 26 last month. 2017 is the final year of his rookie contract.
