Check your CC statements for BLS*WEBLEARN (1 Viewer)

Checked my credit card statement last night and found a $10.64 charge from a place called BLS*WEBLEARN in Malta. It was listed as a computer software company. Called VISA and they have it flagged as a fraudulent charge and cancelled the card and are issuing me another.

I did a Google search and there have been lots of reports about this bogus company, particularly from WalMart and Amazon Prime customers.

They seem to only make small charges I guess hoping they go unnoticed so take a careful look at your statements to make sure you don't get hit.

That's credit card fraudsters MO. They make a couple of small charges to learn if the card bearer notices. If not, they will bleed you dry.

Happened to my card last summer, and thankfully I caught it.

Thanks for the heads up. I check every day or two since I use my CC like a checkbook and manage it as such, but this saves me the hassle of having to investigate if I see one of these guys on my statement.
