Chester going to carry the ball more than last week? (1 Viewer)

I'm thinking he'll get his touches. The Vikings have gone away from the run a couple of times this year and Chester has come back the next week to have productive games:Week 4: 10/23 rush (0 TD) - 3/14 rec (0TD)Week 5: 26/123 rush (0TD) - 5/31 rec (0 TD)Week 8: 10/22 rush (0 TD) - 3/27 rec (0 TD)Week 9: 26/96 rush (0 TD) - 8/45 rec (0 TD)Week 15: 11/38 rush (0 TD) - 0/0 rec (0 TD)Week 16: ???Call me optomistic but I think the Vikings try to emphasize the run again this week - especially with Jackson starting. I'm giving Taylor the nod at RB2 over McAllister...lead me to the title Chet!

I'm leaning towards playing CT in one league. The one thing that worries me is how effective Pinner was around the GL against Det.
Yeah, I know it was Detroit, but that doesn't mean it won't carry over and Childress uses Pinner there to save the wear and tear on CT

I would not expect near the number of catches that CT was getting with Johnson. Jackson will not check down to the rb as much, as he will let it rip downfield. Jacksons ability to leave the pocket and run could losen things up for Taylor. I am still a little worried about him not being 100%.

What are you wanting to hear?Hes probable, hes starting. He'll get alot of work if Minny is in the game, he'll get less work if GB gets well ahead like the Jets did last week.

Taylor has been my number 2 all year, but I think I am going to have to leave him on the bench again, and start Jones-Drew or D. Rhodes (depending on the health of the other RB's on each of their teams).

Ok kids, Ive got about ten minutes to decide if my fate will lie in the hands of Chester or Rhodes, so what do you think - CT did not look 100% last week and now he has the wrist thing... Will his carries be affected? What are the chances of re-injury and being taken out early?

here even though I am displaced in North Carolina right now.
I am playing Chester Taylor as part of my team in a title game this week.
Chester was limited in practice again. There really has not been significant news about him with much of the talk being focused on Jackson.
He is probable. He is going to play. The Vikings will do thier best to run the ball and limit Jacksons pass attempts. I really don't know much more than anyone else about the situation. Yet I am hoping for the best with Taylor.
The weather should help the defense's of both teams and if the score stay low that should help the Vikings to keep feeding Taylor. Keep in mind that Favre is as good as any Qb playing is harsh weather conditions so it may not effect thier passing game like it might other Qbs. If the Slack gets a healthy lead then the Vikings may be forced to throw the ball more than they would like. Taylor is still wearing the protective vest and that makes it harder to catch the ball and more of a risk to fumble.
Jackson is the wild card. Very hard to know what to expect from a inexperienced rookie with only half a game of action to look at. I am optimistic about him playing well but it is pretty hard to know if he will or not.
