Chicago at NY Jets (1 Viewer)

Good oline for Jets. 2 decent RBs. Horrible run D for Bears. Let's start out by throwing 2 passes. Good call.

OOOFff

ONe of the things I wanted to see tonight is whether or not I was wrong on Geno. Came into the night believing he was at the very bottom of "franchise" QB's (not counting placeholders). That didn't help change my opinion

Okay, just got home. I expect a big game from Geno, he really coming into his prime right now and.... what?... really? OH.... nevermind.

Typical Jets bull####

They always have 2 or 3 tricky plays a game and it never works
We did this last week. Dammit. It's not the screen for the INT/TD that irritates me, it's being in a very manageable second and six and forcing Vick into the game.

Dammit.

If Alshon is healthy, they should play action over the top to him on first down to make it 14-0 and end this game three minutes in.

Actually, Mundy is 29 years old and initially ran a 4.55 40. How ####### slow is CJ nowadays that he couldn't catch that dude.
Umm, Johnson caught him with ease.
He trailed his ### for 50 yards, he never actually caught him.
No. The guy had all his momentum going forward and Johnson was flat-footed when the pick happened. You almost never come close to a guy when that happens.
Yet he still caught him and tried for 2 strips rather than just tackling him.

Ivory looks more explosive this year
I disagree. Ivory is merely healthy. Ivory had to beat out Bilal Powell to be the lead back and had a hammy problem all year. But when he ran, he ran like that.
So he looks more explosive because he is healthy?
Not to be rude, but no, and as I was typing I could see where that would be confusing. I'm saying that Rex, who makes weird personnel decisions, made him win the job over Powell out of camp. Once he did, he looked great for a few games. Then he got hurt, so he wound up back in a committee for reasons that only his coaches would know.

But I get why you would misunderstand my statement. And perhaps there is an element of truth to what you're saying. I just remember when he was healthy last year, he was as good as this, and Rex insisted on running Powell out there.

Ridiculous start for the Jets. Never gonna beat a decent team when you turn great field position into a first and goal for your opponent
