really missing ramirez out of the pen. grimm too i guess, but not sure he's that much better than what the cubs are currently working with

 
Can someone explain to me why Maddon just let Ross and Lester hit in the top of the 7th only to bring in Phil Coke for the bottom?

 
It looked like lester might have hurt his wrist swinging in his last at bat. They showed a replay of his shaking it out after a foul ball. Maybe that's why he came out after the at bat? Otherwise you're right, doesn't make much sense

 
next year's the year IMO. sign another big name pitcher this off-season (price, zimmerman, etc.) and give the current young guys another year to develop (whatever that means). 2016 or bust!!

 
Hey guys! Fun team you have this year! Makes you wonder what unforeseen, horrifying curse will happen that makes you question why you even bother caring. It's gotta be something crazy, don't ya think? More fan interference? Escaped wolverine attack during pregame warmups? Think it will happen early or wait until September?

Where will Soler play? I personally really like Coghlan too.

i feel like a corner outfielder is a corner outfielder, flip flop them around. coghlan only has 1 year of arbitration before becoming a free agent, so maybe he's traded before then? or just a bench player for a year before hitting free agency. who knows, i was just speculating for fun

I haven't seen many pitchers challenge him inside the strike zone yet. He's also getting down in the count and changing his approach to be more contact oriented, which is a good thing, but it's tough to hit homers like that. Until he learns to lay off the early count change ups he's not going to get many grooved fastballs to hit out.
