Minnesota at Chicago - Weather Alert

Summary: About 41 degrees with wind at 19-28 MPH

How bad are the winds going to be at game time?

Bad enough to affect the passing game, especially the long Cutler to Knox passing game?

It's a normal November day here in Chicago. I live about 4 miles from the stadium. It's probably about 35 degrees with windchill and sunny. It's not overly windy, just normally windy.

In summation, today's weather should not influence your fantasy football lineups.

Yes. It is windy here today. 17 MPH winds from WSW which will blow diagonally as the field goes N & S.

But since Soldier Field was renovated, the playing surface is more sheltered from the wind than previously. Winds now effect the kicking game more than the passing game. I believe Jared Allen and the Vike's pass rush is more of a threat to Cutler/Knox's productivity than the winds.

This. Might make a Kicker miss a kick or two, but that's it. Don't think you should be starting K's from either of these team no matter what the weather is.

It might make a difference with Favre and the Minnesota passing game. In the last couple of years he has struggled a bit in cold and windy weather.
