Chiefs cut rookie WR Craphonso Thorpe (1 Viewer)

I thought this was noteworthy with the lack of high quality WRs in Kansas City, and Craphonso Thorpe supposedly being a top talent, but with many issues.

I don't believe the Chiefs were exactly overwhelmed with him as a person. If you want a team to wait while you develop, you need to have a certain attititude. I didn't get the feeling he had that or Gibson in Pitt.

he will be pS Material......not surprised. I predicted it from Day 1 that he would need a year of learning.
I think almost everyone predicted he'd need a year of learning. I'm just surprised the Chiefs are letting him go on the open market, before they can put him on the PS.

That would be horrible...KC had to think he wouldnt clear waivers.....but who knows maybe KC can steal someone else's 4th round pick lolIf that happens it looks real bad for Peterson/Vermeil

I'm calling it now: Eagles practice squad.
Doesn't another team have to sign him to their roster, or KC gets the chance to re-sign him to their Practice Squad?

(Rotoworld) Chiefs signed WR Craphonso Thorpe to a three-year contract.

Impact: Crap is back! The fourth-round pick spent the entire season on Kansas City's practice squad.

he wasn't on their practice squad this year?
Yeah he was, but was signed to a 3-year contract in late December. I didn't know this until today, but I figured it'd be interesting for those in large dynasty leagues to know as well.

ahh so they must've liked what they'd seen and signed him to a longer deal...I gotcha, thanks for clarifying
