Chief's Michael Bennett Out, Jordan Black to start at LT (1 Viewer)

chiefs planned to use Bennett this week to spell LJ, but he's out with hammy issues. Jordan Black is starting at LT and Kevin Sampson starting at RT. Look for TE Jason Dunn to be used throughout the day on the left side to help Black, and we'll likely see a lot of 2-TE sets from the Chiefs.

Sampson is ok at RT. Black at LT is horrible. :( Dunn is a great blocking TE though, which should help. LJ should be fine. Not 3TD fine...but he'll get his yards, and probably get his first TD. I expect them to let Huard throw a bit more downfield this week at home, which should help a bit. And it will be warm here in KC, so hopefully LJ can wear down that D. Since Bennett is out...LJ could get 30+ carries today.

With each passing week/year, it's amazing that he and LT were once mentioned in the same breath as to which rookie RB should be drafted first.

Yeah, I know...sounds odd. But LJ has produced with Black at RT this year, and LT last year. I'd be more worried about the passing protection...but as long as they realize they need to help Black out, they'll be fine.
