Chiefs sign Jerheme Urban (1 Viewer)

Urban has good size and speed (I realize WRs can get stereotyped due to race (see kutta's comment), but Urban runs very well) and can play special teams. However, he has poor hands and lacks ideal upper-body strength, which has resulted in difficultly getting off the line of scrimmage and an inability to consistently beat press coverage. He also fails to do some of the 'little things' well (not a natural hands-catcher, doesn't attack the ball in the air and frequently rounds off his routes).

His mistakes caused him to fall out of favor in Arizona and was (somewhat unfairly) blamed for the playoff loss against New Orleans. Ideally, he is a 4th WR (as he offers special teams ability and can give a team a handful of quality snaps at WR), but, barring any new roster additions, I would expect him to enter training camp as the heavy favorite for the 3rd WR position in Kansas City.

That fumble completely changed the momentum in that game, it was all downhill after that. Unfairly my ###!
