I am not an Eagles fan, but I am enjoying listening to Chip's extended interviews on philadelphiaeagles.com.

He just said you can never have a football team that is "too smart". He likes the flexibility you gain when you have intelligent players. He wants to have "smart" players at every position.

I've often wondered why teams who have payrolls in the millions and millions don't employ Super Genius level people to run the organization. I'd love to see a team hire a football lover who has an IQ of like 150. Now that's a Hard Knocks I would watch. Imagine a true genius having a conversation with James Harrison or JJ Watt about how they should do their job.
