Choice or Jamie Starks (1 Viewer)

better yet, who would you start these guys over next week?
Maurice Morris Jahvid BustToby GerhartMy team of no-names after Mr Gore went down. Being in a league based in Wisconsin I got him right before kickoff Sunday. (I still have a good record, so he'd be gone before my waiver spot)Going for Choice this week as well. One of these 2 will team up with Danny Woodhead as my starting RB's heading into the playoffs. :)

Choice is in a 2 way RBBC and Starks is in a 3 man RBBC. And Choice gets Goal Line carries,. Starks gives up to kuhn / Nance on short yardage. Choice easily over Starks. Would rather have Ivory (if hes avalaible ) or Choice over starks . Thats for the next 2 weeks NOT dynasty.

Any thoughts on Choice maybe becoming this year's Jerome Harrison? Someone you should add even if you are set at RB just so that your oppoent does have him?

Great Weeks 15-16 matchups and a history of producing, with a fired up team, vs. a staff determination to keep Barber and Felix in the game. If Barber is ok does Choice go away again?

I'm running with Choice this week. He was given a chance to years ago in weeks 13-16 and did very well getting like 20 points a week in my league. Like everyone has said Starks is splitting carries and I believe I read in another thread that McCarthy still wants Jackson to be his main runner.

Looking at the schedule:

Clayton's SOS thru Week 16 has DAL = 21.4 , GB = 18.7

Choice's Opp Rush Rankings are 12, 26, 28.

Starks' Opp Rush Rankings are 23, 17, 7.

I'm having a hard time separating the Opportunity of each...so I think I'm going after Choice.

Maybe this week the play is Starks . (Starks will share carris but so will Choice and like Starks , Jones gets the receptions. Difference is GL) but weeks 15-16 its Choice. I might consider playing Starks THIS week over Choice (they might get the same amount of carries but GB opponent give up alot to the run) BUT if I make it to week 15 then its a no brainer and Choice gets the Nod. Starks might make his 15-18 carries against DET turn into 100 yards easy. and if they gets a huge lead the Pack will run the second half most likley with starks. Still like Choice alot too but not as much as Starks this week only.

I have a bye this week but if I didn't, i would plug in starks at flex over choice and marshawn. i don't believe mccarthy when he says b-jax is still #1 ball carrier. and good chance the packers are up big at halftime.hehe.... edited b/c i obviously never post here and check out my signature.... a few years old!

Choice or Jamie Starks... Who gets ur vote for pickup of the week.....
WW pickups like this can be a decent Shark Pool topic.Eddy, who do you think would be best and why?J
Agreed. This is a great topic... but there's actually like 10 options out there and probably half of them are available in most leagues.... I went ahead put up a poll with everybody I could think of.

I think there's a good chance that GB is up early and it will give them a chance to take a closer look at Starks while playing the "resting the veteran" angle. The stuff about Jackson still being the main guy is coachspeak. He may or may not be the main guy, but of course McCarthy has to say that at this point. Jackson has always looked like a serviceable back to me, but certainly nothing special. You know what you have there. Is Starks any different? Not sure yet, but he got off to a pretty nice start. I would think that GB wants to see him on the field often to see if he might be a step up. A dynamic RB in that offense would certainly make them extremely difficult to defend.

This is kind of what I'm thinking. The Packers could have a huge lead and then give the ball to Starks in the second half and say "show us what you can do".Or maybe not. But I'd go with Starks if I had that choice.

15 and 16 I'd say Choice.

I'm considering Starks over Bradshaw...anyone think this is a really bad move? I don't like the Bradshaw/Jacobs split and Min is VERY tough vs the run in the past few weeks. In reality, Starks and Bradshaw could see about the same workload, but Starks has the much better matchup.

Am I over thinking this?

My choice would be T-Cho. Like Starks but Kuhn is getting what little goal line running they do and B-Jax is still in the mix. T-Cho will get 15+ touches..maybe more and all the goal line carries.
