With the season getting oh so close, thought it may be fun to see which teams are viewed as the favorites to win their divisions. Please discuss your selections.

Apparently my Steelers vote wasn't as chalk as I thought.Despyzer said:I went chalk. NE, Pit, Ind, Den.
Yes, because Carson Palmer never loses to the Steelers when the Bengals play at home. Oh wait, Palmer's record against the Steelers in Cincy is 0-2 and 1-3 overall. (I am not counting the playoff loss). The Bengals played a soft schedule last season and had a sub-par defense. Their problem in the playoff loss was their defense, twice blowing double-digit leads. If the Bengals defense improves, they can go all they way in the 2006. If not, they won't win the division.*Note to Steelers fans, if Palmer stays in the game last season, you go home with no ring. No division championship for you either.
one of those is for sure rudnickiBUFFALO [ 1 ] [2.17%] Really?Miami, Cincy, Indy, KC

And nevermind the fact that if the Steelers hadn't lost Roethlisberger for a few games during the regular season, they'd have won the division last year, too.And never mind that Palmer didn't light up the Steelers' secondary in EITHER matchup last year... his passing stats were almost identical in the 2nd matchup except that he threw the 3 TDs instead of 2 INTs. The Bengals won the 2nd matchup because they forced 5 turnovers and got a special teams TD, and they still won by only a TD.Like Godsbrother pointed out - it'll come down to the Bengals' defense again. How much did improve? We'll see. It's going to be a great battle for the division this year, but the thought that the Bengals would've automatcially won in the playoffs last year had Palmer not gotten hurt is ludicrous. It would've given them a shot to win, but that's about it.Yes, because Carson Palmer never loses to the Steelers when the Bengals play at home. And I am not necessarily arguing with you. But it will only happen if the Bengals defense has improved over last season.Everyone has an opinion, it doesnt become fact until the season is over. I am saying the Bengals win the division and challenge the Broncos for a trip to the Super Bowl.
I went the same. I think NE's defense is in too bad a shape, plus lack of WRs. Cinci - Palmer looked scary good against GB (yeah, yeah, I know.. pre-season, green bay... still... he looked like me playing Madden at rookie!). Indi.. still darn good. The West was the tough one to choose between KC and Denver, but I think KC improved their defense just enough to get them over Denver.Miami, Cincy, Indy, KC
