Chris Brown - Expected To Play (1 Viewer)

I see Chris Brown listed on the injury report, but are there any Tennessee homers who know what's up with his expected return. He's available on my league waiver wire and I might take a flyer if his return is imminent and he'll start over Henry. He would be my last backup RB.

Thanks.

Unfortunately, I'm faced with the sad reality that I may need to start CB in one league if he's healthy enough to play this weekend.

So I'm curious to hear any inside information about him as well.

I am unfortunate enough to have to start either Henry or L White in 1 league. I am also interested in CB's status.

Am I the only one who thinks Hernry might of won the starting gig. I don't think he played that bad last week.

Today's Tennessean

Running back order: Fisher didn’t offer up his current running back order, but Chris Brown and Travis Henry both said they expect things to go back to where they were before each dealt with a toe injury.

“I feel like I am ready to go, I feel like it’s my spot to lose, I expect to (start),” Brown said.

Henry said he’s not been told anything about the running back order so he presumes it’s back to what was the status quo.

“If they haven’t said anything to me, I guess he’s the starter,” he said. “He was just hurt so I guess that’s how they are going to do it.”

I was one who thought C.Brown has talent, but he has shown nothing so far, absolutley dreadful to this point. He will lose his job if he does not get it going this weekend. Travis Henry has not been anything special but he is running hard and showing a pulse. Forget Lendale White, he is a bum IMO. He does not have the mental toughness needed to be a productive 20 plus carry guy in this league. No discipline in conditioning = bust.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Henry use to be good and came into camp in great shape.

I'm hanging on to LenDale and hoping... I'm thinking that offensive coordinator Norm Chow had an influence in Fisher drafting him and would like to get him into the lineup at some point, as he's "his guy."

Am I wrong in that assessment, or is LenDale a bust?

I have no insider info, but I read that LenDale was projected to be a top RB pick before his injury (I read top 10, but I don't believe that). Other teams passed on him in part because of his attitude and also because of his injury.Short term - I would not have any hope for LenDale, unless you're in a 20 team league. Mid-Term (2-4 years) - He's worth holding onto to see if he matures. Keyshawn did, so did Terry Glenn. Of course, Lawrence Phillips didn't. If you have him cheap, he's worth holding ontoLong term - I'd bet that he's out of the league by then.Caveats:1) It all depends on what you have on your roster (no RB#3?) and who your options are (maybe he's the best you can get).2) I am a LenDale owner in my league, and fully expect him to be a bust after drafting Jackson 2 years ago and Ronnie Brown last year. I still think he'll be a bust because he doesn't demonstrate the work ethic or desire to improve which is a requirement.

16 team league with a 12 man roster, 1 free agent move a week... Which is why every move is crucial. Have Dunn, Caddy, Morency, and LenDale. I sacrificed my depth by trading Mike Bell for Caddy (shrewd move), the trading FWP for Fitzgerald leaving my roster as follows:

Vick

Dunn

Caddy

Fitz

Housh

Gates

Gould

No depth, but good starters and 3-0.

I agree with DogPoundNJ that LenDale has value this year. Brown and Henry blow and this team needs to know if it's going to draft Adrian Peterson or whoever the next franchise RB next April. I think he gets an October opportunity.

The only problem will be what he can do with that opportunity. If Ten only runs the ball 10-15 times a game because their defense blows chunks (of offense to the opposition) then he's going to get about 50 yards a game... I don't see him being a Clinton Portis break-off-the-70-yard-run type of player. If he played for the Steelers, yes; because he plays for the Titans, no.

I would imagine that it's still Brown's job, but that he'll share carries.

Still, I wouldn't have high hopes for the running game in general with VY back there just getting his feet wet.

Great info on the Tenn running game this week

Henry is OUT. Brown should split time with LenDale White

per FBG news

You sure that's not WR Chris Henry that shows on the Blogger as likely inactive? I haven't seen (confirmed) anything on Travis yet?

I have a hard time seeing Brown rushing for more than 40 or 50 yards today.

Dallas has a terrific defense as it is, and now they'll stack the box because they don't really have to fear Young's passing ability. For those of you rolling the dice with Brown... good luck.

Travis Henry is among the Titans' Week 4 inactives.Henry started last week and wasn't on the injury report. It looks like Tennessee's starter will be Chris Brown in Week 4, though he's not a great fantasy play. LenDale White appears to have moved past Henry on the depth chart. Pick him up now before Tennessee goes into a youth movement mode. Oct. 1 - 12:34 pm etSource: titansradio.com

So does this put White as the Goal Line Back and we see a repeat of week 1 were Brown got the ball from the 5 to the 5 and Henry got the TDs?

I have a choice of 1 of the three TEN backs :bag: and Michael Robinson

:X

With VY in, it seems like a matter of time before they turn to White.

White > Brown going forward?
