So I was offered this trade...my 1st next year for Carson, who I’m not that familiar with.  To give some background

12 team dynasty league with 22 man roster.  Scoring .10 points per 1 yard receiving or rushing.  1 point for receptions.

10 starters.    1 QB.     2rb / 3 wr/ 1 te / 1 flex (rb,qb,wr)  1 kicker 1 def

my my current RBs

Cj anderson  det

peyton barber TB

Mike Davis chi

Derick Henry Ten

Latavius Murray  NOS

Jalen Richard Oak

my QBs and WRz are strong  but I know I am weak at RB...I just don’t know if Carson is worth a 1st, I don’t know as much about him or really his situation   Any thoughts or suggestions would be great.......

I think he's "the guy" in Seattle for at least this year.  They'll run the ball a ton.  Penny will still get his touches, but I think Carson is safe this year.

I think it's an expiring situation.  Penny is goinig to start one day.  So you get Carson who could be really good this year and perhaps next.  But realize Penny will eat more and more into that workload as time goes.

2020 is supposed to be really strong, and you may give up a long-term stud for a rental.  If you think you've got a good chance to win this year, it may be worth it.

Just like jm192 said, Seattle is going to be run-heavy this year so Carson's is slated for a big workload but Penny definitely is going to be in the mix and increased usage.

However looking at your RB's, I'd say it goes Derrick Henry > Peyton Barber > CJ Anderson/Lat Murrary > Mike Davis/Jalen Richard. And just like jm192 said again, it's all dependent on if you know you're going to have some sort of chance at winning - if not, then don't do the trade and wait till next year's drafts because there's a handful of new RB's on the board with higher upside.

Personally? I wouldn't give up the 1st round for Carson but then again, we don't know the rest of your team.

A first is hard to give up for Carson.  I'd see if the other guy would take a 2nd for sure, but your RBs do need a little boost as outside Henry it's rough.

Thoughts on this trade, .5 PPR:  Carson & Anderson or Henry & KAllen?
