As long as Joey Checkdown is the QB, Chambers value is mediocre #2 at the very best.Any predictions?Chambers has been pitiful so far but had a strong second half last year.Thoughts on the rest of the year for him?

I will as well b/c I have no choice. I'm not willing to drop anyone currently on my roster (we use blind bidding w/ fantasy money) topick up a #3 WR who'll likely do no more than Chambers...Just so everybody knows, I am starting Chambers vs Chicago this week. I say this because I always make the wrong move. So I'd avoid starting him this week if you have other options.
My understanding is that once CPep can prove he's got most of his quickness back he'll be the QB again. Until that time, it's Harrington. One thing to note about Chambers. His "move to the slot" is not a full-time position switch. They are saying he will be moved around the field some during the game, NOT that he will be in the slot every down. For all we know, he'll be in the slot 4, or 5 plays a game. Noone actually knows until they actually follow-through on this promise for a few games. Then we might be able to forecast, to some degree, just how much he moves around the field. The other thing to note is that if he's had strong second halves of the season with the likes of Feidler and Frerotte he could potentially do it again with Harrington. What is the qb situation like in Miami? I mean, will CPep get the job back, or is it Joey's job to lose?
Its the same thing they did last year though. Moved him to the slot for a number of plays each game and it helped his numbers. Put him in the slot for a play or 2, then move him back to the outside for a bit. That changes who covers him, and if the matchup is good when hes in the slot they may use him there more.Miami has tough matchups down the stretch (Chi, KC, Min, Det, Jax, NE, Buf, NYJ, IND), so I cant see his numbers increasing dramatically. All Im hoping for is decent WR2 numbers from here on out, but that may be wishing for more than is possible. One thing to note about Chambers. Yeah well if his value is low now...I would be targeting him. After this weekend against the Bears... his value will be so low that it will be laughable...
Wow...can you believe he doesn't have one game of 100 yards receiving this year???Wingnut said:Chambers seems to be the new Donte Stallworth from a year ago. I had Donte last year and I remember he was good for a big game every other week for a while there. Looking at Chambers numebrs, I think hes a good start this week. Check this out:Chambers this season:Week 1: 5 for 59Week 2: 4 for 55 (and a TD)week 3: 4 for 39Week 4: 3 for 28 (and a TD)Week 5: 5 for 29Week 6: 5 for 60 (and a TD)Week 7: 2 for 29Week 9: 5 for 58 (and a TD)week 10: 3 for 66Week 11: ??????? (and a TD)?I know his yardage sucks, but a TD is worth some points.Im starting him this week (again), but Im only sitting Branch for him. Heres bettin on paydirt!
