Panthers SS Harris needs surgery to repair torn labrum
Veteran strong safety Chris Harris said on WFNZ-AM's Morning Sports Page that he'll need surgery to repair a torn labrum (shoulder) that he suffered during Carolina's 33-13 loss to the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC Divisional Playoffs. The hard-hitting Harris will have surgery next Thursday at Carolinas Medical Center and estimated a three-to-four month recovery time.
He might miss minicamp, but should be fine for OTAs in June and training camp in late July.
