Chris Henry (1 Viewer)

Anyone see the game? Did he get hurt or was he just not targetted?
I watched. He played the whole game. He had very few passes thrown his way. He had one catch called back on a penalty. Hard to guage this game, as Carson didn't look especially sharp. But Henry goes to my bench until he shows something after that performance.

To be fair the Bengals simply didn't throw the ball much, so anyone save for the top target (CJ) was going to have a bad day. That said, I like many of you put him into my lineup this week and would've rather seen a better output.

Bottom line is lots of folks playing FFTOC style probably got burned by him this week.

Palmer got rid of the ball quickly yesterday, I'd guess due to not wanting to take a hit on his knee. On most plays Henry is probably not his first read. As Palmer gets more comfy I think you'll see him look to other WRs like he did last year.

Playing Henry this past week goes to show you these lineup rankings and predicting who will be better (especially wr's) is a joke and has no science to it. I played Henry is 2 leagues and got burned. there was no point. he is my 6th or 7th wr and he should have stayed there. f this. i am playing my guys from now on and not getting too cute. i have other idiots in the league who dont even know who chris henry is or where he went to college and because they are so dumb (or un knowledgeable) this doesnt hurt them (henry starting last second). if i lose cause of henry & plummer i will be pissed!

Henry had two targets (by my count) and had one reception nullified on a penalty (not that is was anything big anyway). Bottom line was it was a wet surface (absolutely pouring during the 2nd quarter), the Bengals played with the league and ran the ball much of the 2nd half to milk the clock. Bengals D was playing well too, so the offense really pulled in the reins. So, this game just did not turn out into the expected shootout and Henry's targets/stats reflect it. Bengals only threw 19 times.

I too started Henry. Once TJ was listed as OUT Henry became a pretty attractive option for me. It was either him, Javon Walker or Mark Clayton. I didn't like the thought of Clayton versus the Tampa D and I really wanted to see a game of healtyh Javon Walker before committing to him. Henry seemed like ano brainer.

None of the three did much. Fortunately I got a win anyway. My opponent started Mike Vanderjagt!

It's part of the allure of fantasy footbal . . . this isn't chess . . . there is an large element of luck in the short term, and less of one in the long term . . . if we KNEW what was going to happen, then the games wouldnt be so exciting . . .

I got burned by him as well; but if I had to do it over again, I wouldn't change a thing . . .

It's like doubling down with an 11 and the dealer is showing a 4,5 or 6 . . . even if you bust once, the next time around you have to double again . . .

Oh quit whining. It is speculation, and frankly Hnery was pretty sweet last year too. Even when Housh was in. I benched bennet for him. But then agin I made that call. As a multi year member of this site I will say that more often than not they are right, but obviously not an exact science. Quit being such a puscatore.
