""" New Orleans No. 3 running back Chris Ivory left Thursday's preseason finale against Tennessee with an undisclosed leg injury. He had been impressing the Saints this preseason as he was solidifying a spot on the roster. Ivory ran the ball four times for five yards before leaving the game."""

Did anyone see what happened? Any news coming out of new orleans? Kid has looked real strong in that high powered offense and with p.thomas missing a few games every year Ivory could have a shot at putting up good numbers from time to time.

more should be known later today.

this is nonsense. thomas has been a starter for about a year and a half. he's "missed" 2 games - week 1 last year and week 17 the year before - in that time. he, like the other starters, were given the game off in the final game of last year. suggestion or speculation that he's an injury prone is unfounded.

Saintfool is right ... Sean Payton did not elaborate on Ivory's injury. Newspaper reported that Ivory's injury is going to be examined today.

Sure am glad Betts is on board. Not in line for real FFB stats, of course, but will definitely help the real-life Saints.

did he take a bad shot to the legs? he has a nice combination of size, speed and agility. guess we have to wait. i didn't get to see the game yet.

Absolutely worth keeping in dynasty. He was a starting RB in the Pac-10 before transferring, so he has talent. Thomas' contract is up this year and Bush's next year. Even absent that, we've seen the value that NO's #3 RB can have.
