I think he could be a decent by-week fill in. Panthers probably didn't game plan against him... could be an X-Factor for the Bengals.

Ignore the question and pick apart my words. Just say, "I don't know" if you don't know or don't care.

I like him better this week then some of the other 3rd down or rotation backs. He's got excellent hands and the Bengals need a spark. Considering how insipid the offense has been over the past couple weeks, wouldn't be a SHOCK to see him more involved.

Agree? Disagree? Why?

Due to injuries and suspensions at WR. Perry could be heavily involved in the passing game (if healthy). The question is nobody knows how healthy he is. I would only use if you were truly desperate.

I don't know

why do you think he'll get 10-15 touches? He hasn't played all year, Rudi is the main man and Kenny Watson has been a great fill in.

I'm curious why you feel Perry is now going to control the offense by getting that many looks.

And I am also a Bengals fan.

Chris Perry 5-7 touches max.

Perry may need time to get back in synch with the offense. If Chris Henry is still out due to suspension, rumor was that PErry would help out at WR.

ETA that Henry out til week 8, so Perry may see action at WR.

would you use him over Michael Turner in a bye week pinch?
Because Turner only got 1 carry in a blowout against SF, I am starting Perry over Turner. I'd much rather start Turner, but last week was a bad sign. Turner should have been good for 10 carries and a TD last weekend, but maybe LT2 has been telling the staff that he does not want to be replaced. I'm going to monitor the Chargers this week before considering Turner as a flex option later down the road. FWIW, I am starting Perry over Davenport, Morency & Reggie Williams. Good luck today.Considering my options are limited, I am hoping for the best. I'd like to see 5 carries and 4 receptions.

I agree that 10-15 is a lot to expect unless Rudi gets hurt. The Bengals put Tab Perry on IR. I could see Watson shifting over to more a special teams player for the rest of the season, and Perry getting the Watson touches as early as this week. With only 3 healthy experienced WRs, you may see Perry split out and in the game the same time as Rudi. This really is an injury depleted team.

If I read the blogger right, Perry himself predicted 10-12. I think that's probably an overestimate by an excited player.
