Cincinnati Bengals (1 Viewer)

The Bengals have now swept the Ravens, and the Steelers. And they beat the Steelers at their own game. Lots of Defense, field goals, low scoring affair.

They'd be 7-1 without Brandon Stokley's flukey TD.

I'll give you the Colts and Saints before them, because everyone does the whole undefeated team first thing, and I don't want to make this about the Colts/Saints.

But, this is a different Bengals team. They play defense. They have a legit running game again. They can pass, they have a decent o-line once again as well. I think they're a legit SB contender now. What say you?

I'm a titans fan btw, not a big bengals homer, but like the success story after all the crap years.

As long as Benson comes back soon I can't see why they shouldn't be in consideration. They should at least be close to the level of the vikings (probably still behind them based on record) since they have played a tougher schedule.

certainly a contender and in the discussion with the Patriots and Vikings for the top 5. I'm quite impressed with their turnaround this year.

IMO the top 3 are any of Saints, Patriots, Colts

Then it's the Vikings and Bengals right now.

The AFC has revolved around the Patriots, Colts, and Steelers for a long time. I think the Bengals certainly have earned the right to be in the conversation and its good to have some fresh blood in the mix.

The vikings have the bengals in a few weeks. It will be interesting to see how the vikings handle a physical team like the Bengals (they struggled against the Steelers and Ravens and neither of those teams are playing on the Bengals level right now) and how the Bengals handle a dynamic offense and a qb who is an all time great playing at a high level.

they are Top 3 in the AFC but not the league. They seem a lock to win their division as they have a 2 game lead over Pittsburgh at this point and probably will not lose a division game. They are still behind the Saints, Pats and Vikings at this point and probably the Colts. I would put them a shade above SD and they are definitely a team nobody will want to play come playoff time. Strong running game, good defense and very physical.

Their next 3 games are: Raiders, Browns, Lions. They will soon be 10-2.

PS: Get their DEF while you can, or if you are fighting for a playoff spot go trade for them.

Only a shade above SD? that seems to be wrong to me.
