Cincinnati - Great America Ballpark tickets? (1 Viewer)

falguy

Inconceivable!
My buddy and I will be here on July 16 (Brewers in town). We're just baseball fans looking for a little road trip. I'm investigating ticket options and am curious about a couple apparently good deals I see on Stubhub

Dugout Box Section 116 Row j - $55 (according to the web ticket pricing these are $95 seats?) Ticketmaster gave me 2 in section 115a row j (one section farther away from infield) and it was over $200 including taxes.  At first I almost jumped all over this Stubhub offer if it weren't for...

Club Seats Section 303 row B - $79 ($101 according to TM/Reds website). Obviously higher but do I understand correctly that these include alcohol (not just all you can eat)?

So, I like both options but if the $79 includes food and beverages I think this is the better one for us - we'd surely eat and drink $24 worth.

Any advice? (other than don't go watch these bums)

I'm a cheap ******* and would get $5 cheap seats and bring my own food and alcohol (in a flask).  Cheese and Shuke probably know all about the fancy seats....so yeah...PM Shuke!

I've never sat in club seats so no idea, but highly doubt the ticket price includes alcohol.

$55 is probably right for those infield box seats but the Reds suck so you can probably get cheaper from a scalper day of game.

Make sure you go early and do the HOF.

Club is food and beverage minus alchohol. The food is legit. Not just ballpark food. They have private bars inside and they will serve to your seat, but you pay.

The seats themselves are bigger and more cushion. Also, for most games this year, you can buy a cheap ticket and just sit in the $55 seats. You can't just sneak into the club section. There is also the inside/outside component if you think you might watch the game from behind the glass at all. I like the club, but yes it's further up from the action.

I buy the cheapest seat I can find and never go to it. Grab a table or chunk of countertop along left/third base side and spend equal amounts of time watching the game and the talent walking around the concourse.

Thank you for the responses.  I'll think about it for a bit - doubt the prices will go up anyway. If the clubs don't include alcohol (which seemed too good to be true) then I think I'll pass.

We're both fans of the Reds history - Morgan, Rose, Perez, Bench, Conception, etc so definitely will be checking out the HOF.
