K. Washington is a free agent in my money league.

T.J. Houshmandzadeh is listed as INJ on FBG depth chart.

Can someone tell me how serious his INJ.is as I may pick up Kelly.

TKS in advance.

His Probable status is due to the lingering heel problem he's had since the start of the season. One would expect that if there's a week that he would come off probable status it would be this week, since since CIN is coming off their bye week. Washington won't steal any time from Housh but will be a factor with Henry suspended for 2 games.

I believe Antonio Chatman is expected to see increased reps, not necessarily Washington

WR Washington gets expanded role Updated 10/10/06

News: Bengals WR Kelley Washington, who was a potential cut-down day casualty, has earned coach Marvin Lewis' appreciation. Washington has expanded his role on special teams and has nine receptions and one touchdown on offense. "He's very confident in his abilities," Lewis said of Washington. "He's always done basically what's asked. He's really made a difference and stepped up, and he's realized that he's learned the value of being on a team is that you have to contribute in all areas. I think he's done an excellent job of raising that level and being productive on special teams as well, given every opportunity he gets now, and that's been good. He's always answered the call."

Analysis: Washington has been given more time with the suspension of Chris Henry. He is not reliable enough to use except in the deepest of Fantasy leagues.

Funny how they reported that Washington is on Marvin Lewis' good side to turn around and suggest he only be used in deep leagues.

If this is a reply to me...I'm not wholly disagreeing with Washington just Chatman is finally healthy and he too has been getting positive reviews from Lewis. I'm thinking more a mix of the two than just Washington stepping into a role

right on... not disagreeing about Chatman... just putting it out there since i had recently read it (i didn't even have to navigate to the page to copy and paste... it was already open)
