I am pretty interested in watching this. I was very intrigued with Snowden from the 60 minutes interview. Not really sure where I stand on what he did.

Elected officials are puppets. We fight about them. This is wizard of oz crap. The people running things are not elected and behind the curtain. They use fear and "safety" to control. They people who wrote the constitution would never stand for this. The country they created is 100 times worse then the one they left for freedom.

I thought it was great. It humanized snowden for sure. i think that was the idea with the hair bit.

One thing I don't understand is how he hasn't been detained yet. How were they able to meet with him after the news broke? Greenwald went on tv and disclosed this stuff but he wasn't worried about being followed back to snowden's hotel? Lawyers and press were calling Snowden's room but the feds couldn't find him? Has he had that mole checked out?

I agree with a lot of this, except the constitution part.

The constitution is a blueprint for an overbearing state apparatus, not individual liberty.

The country they created was worse than the one they left as early as the Whiskey Rebellion, if not earlier.

He was in Hong Kong. Not sure why that would matter.

Hong Kong is considered China

I'm not sure what your point is. He's talking about the possibility of the door being kicked in at one point. They get freaked out by the fire alarm. For sure he was worried about CIA types grabbing him, putting a hood on him and stuffing him in a van.

As others mentioned it humanized Snowden and I found it very interesting. However I thought the PBS Frontline United States of Secrets was better. Infuriated me more. But Citizenfour was still pretty good.

He was worried about us influencing China to grab him or the US kicking in the door and killing him with a Jack Ruby taking the fall.

Haven't seen that but a lot of what Snowden talked about was in Terms and Conditions May Apply.
The Frontline piece is on Netflix and online at PBS.org, 2 episodes - 1st is about 2 hrs, the 2nd is an hour. Details how the NSA programs were initiated, through interviews with the people involved. It will piss you off.

I did catch T&CMA on Netflix a while ago. Very good as well.

I haven't been pissed off enough today, thanks!
